Trade Support Analyst (Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000)

This role involves maintaining the daily integrity and accuracy of all aspects of the Trade Support process, including handling trade communication files, managing trade fails and breaks, and overseeing collateral management.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or 6 years of equivalent work experience, along with a strong understanding of the complete trade life cycle. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of experience in financial or business operations is recommended. Responsibilities:
- Address global trade settlements and manage trade fail matters for various securities such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, and mutual funds.
- Research and resolve trade exceptions and breaks by communicating with both internal and external counterparties.
- Oversee the daily processing and accurate execution of mutual fund trades, ensuring quick decision-making under tight deadlines.
- Maintain the firm’s collateral management process and handle daily trade notification processes with brokers and custodians.
- Provide metrics, conduct peer-reviews, and present data trends to management.
- Lead initiatives to mitigate operational risk and propose best practices for operational improvements.
- Participate in firm-wide and departmental projects, contributing to the team’s goals and identifying automation opportunities.
- Communicate project and task status to managers and colleagues regularly.
Client Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial or business operations.
- General understanding of the trade life cycle.
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines and escalate issues as necessary.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Ability to work in the Austin office five days a week and travel periodically to Baltimore, MD.
