Position Overview: As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our procurement department. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to meet company goals.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and service levels.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance meets our quality standards and delivery requirements.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain data to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective procurement solutions.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to procurement and supplier performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices to continuously improve procurement processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in a procurement or buying role, with a track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
