Position Type: Long-term Contract
Mid to senior level Quality Assurance Engineer with strong ETL, Bigdata- Hadoop, SQL testing expertise and a good knowledge of Spark, Unix, Data warehousing, scheduling tools.
Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
Comfortable with leading small efforts
• Strong experience of data-centric projects and data flow / data analysis. profiling and ETL testing skills.
• Experience of working in the Big Data ecosystem such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark.
• Strong data and code analysis skills (troubleshooting data quality/integrity, root causes).
• Experience with test automation tool set like TOSCA, Cucumber.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Good understanding and exposure to continuous Integration model.
• Desire to contribute to and promote good software testing practices across the team.
Experience working in financial domain
