Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Systems Engineering Control Account Manager to join our Greenville, TX team. This position is responsible for scope, schedule, and cost for execution of tasks within a program. Responsible for coordinating the team at the IPT/sub-IPT level. Responsible for submitting Bid and proposals. Responsible for EAC management.
Essential Functions:
Manages input of Planning Packages and conversion to Working Packages
Responsible for the day to day tactical duties for assigned projects
Leads team in the execution of project activities
Provides technical guidance and expertise to team members, assisting in resolving issues
Identifies Roadblocks impacting team progress and provides guidance or potential resolutions
Establishes control account plan within the performance measurement baseline.
Manages work/scope within the Control Account; flows down work scope to team
Analyzes cost and schedule variances from a baseline plan
Must work on the facility with some limited flexibility
Business travel equates to approx 10% of man-year
Qualifications:
Requires an experienced professional with knowledge of job area and a practical knowledge of Project Management
Requires Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree relevant to Avionics with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret (TS/SCI)
Preferred Additional Skills:
Prior CAM/EVMS experience in Systems or Program Management
Good understanding of systems engineering concepts and principles
Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
DOORS/Jira experience
MS Project experience
