DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administration of Servers (physical and virtualized), LAN and WAN, troubleshooting and contact to external partners.
- Provide support to end-users for hardware, software, and other telecommunication issues.
- Provide help desk support for internal users
- Oversee the procurement of all technical equipment for Central and Remote offices (Laptops, VOIP, Smart phones, Peripherals, Printers/Copiers/Fax Machine etc.)
- Support and maintain all computer systems, desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software for Corporate and remote users including installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Install new equipment as it arrives.
- Collaborate with IT vendors as needed on new and existing equipment.
- Provide support to all production computers/systems.
- Maintain backup of files, security, and rights according to corporate policies.
- Administer facility security (access, cameras, badges).
- Administer PBX/voicemail systems.
- Ensure that all users have the technology tools needed to perform their functions.
- Maintain an inventory of all IT equipment and software.
- Ensure that all appropriate software is installed and set up where needed and in accordance with corporate policy.
- Assist with data and voice communication wiring when needed.
- Assist with the development, testing, documentation, and implementation of any new systems.
- Follow all relevant policies and procedures (5S, Safety, ARCLA policies, especially IT-policies)
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Education Associate/2 year degree; Education specific/specialty: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field
- 3-5 years in experience PC support and software support
- Knowledge of MS Exchange/ Outlook
- 3-5 years experience configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Cisco network infrastructures
- Hands-on experience with Network interface card installation and configuration experience
- Experience with Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, vSphere)
- Strong understanding of LAN, WLAN, VLAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS protocols and Ethernet Networking, Firewalls (Palo Alto), Cyber Security technologies.
- Printer and Print server installation, configuration, and maintenance experience
- Strong problem-solving communication (written & verbal) skills
- Great organizational skills
- Ability to work with employees and vendors at all levels.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Relevant IT infrastructure certifications (i.e., CCNA, MS Certified)
