Creative Learning Experience Designer (100% Virtual)
We are working with our client, an athletic clothing retailer, to locate a highly experienced, creative learning experience designer to partner with us on the development of a comprehensive suite of training materials for their store employees. The initial engagement will be a pilot to showcase your capabilities, creativity, and expertise in delivering engaging, dynamic, and effective eLearning content. Success in this project could lead to a long-term partnership for future training and development needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a suite of training materials, including training videos, interactive e-Learning modules, graphic design templates, and other visual assets that align with the brand and training objectives.
- Provide innovative and creative approaches to make training content fun, engaging, and memorable for retail staff, ensuring a dynamic learning experience.
- Manage the project from concept to completion, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Work closely with the internal team to understand the content provided and translate it into visually compelling and instructional e-Learning materials.
- Ensure all materials are of the highest quality, with a focus on usability, accessibility, and effectiveness in a retail training context.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record of developing creative training materials, with a portfolio showcasing similar projects for retail or similar industries.
- Strong skills in e-Learning development, instructional design, video production, graphic design, and interactive content creation.
- Ability to think outside the box and create engaging, modern training experiences that resonate with retail employees.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
- An excellent portfolio.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with retail clients.
- Familiarity with retail operations and the specific training needs of retail staff.
- Proficiency in tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, or similar.
Tools and Requirements:
Required Tools: MS Office, Office365. Access to Figma will be provided.
Must use own laptop and tools (no additional licenses required).
Start: September
Duration: 6 weeks, with strong possibility of extension
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: 100% Virtual
The pay range is $60 to $70 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
