Risha Engineering Group has openings for an Associate Engineer position and Senior Associate Engineer position for new construction and rehabilitation projects for office, retail, educational, residential, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial buildings. Projects are located across the Western United States. These are work from office positions in our Burbank location.
Associate
Duties include:
With minimal supervision from senior staff, prepare complete calculations within allotted hours and budget. Design and detail connections for all materials. Supervise preparation of construction documents by CAD personnel. Ensure that progress and plan check submittal packages are complete. Prepare well written technical reports. Demonstrate thorough understanding of building and material codes. Knowledge of performance based advanced analytical techniques and ASCE 41. Must have 4 – 6 years’ experience. BSCE and California PE license required.
Senior Associate
Duties include:
Manage multiple projects including large institutional projects in multiple geographic locations. Supervise technical teams working on multiple projects. Must possess keen understanding of Code provisions and advanced analysis and building evaluation techniques. Able and willing to prepare complete calculations and design and detail connections for all materials within allotted hours and budget. Participate and supervise the preparation of construction documents by engineers or CAD personnel. Ensure that progress and plan check submittal packages are complete. Preparing well written technical reports. Demonstrate effective communication skills with management, clients, and technical staff. Demonstrate management capability and ability to supervise other staff. Self-starter and Initiative. Demonstrate business development capabilities (new clients, project types, areas) by winning projects from new clients the first year. Must have SE title and 10- 15 years’ experience. BSCE required; MSCE preferred.
