Meet is currently partnered with an exciting cell therapy focused Biotech out of South San Francisco. We're looking for a Research Associate with strong flow cytometry background who will support flow cytometry core team.
This is a 9-12 months Contract opportunity, 5 days a week onsite on a W2.
Responsibility:
- Independent operation and troubleshooting of cell sorters
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of flow cytometers as well as providing instrumentation support to users
- Maintain inventory of flow cytometry reagents and supplies
- Assist in assay development and optimization of flow cytometry assays
Qualifications
- Degree in biotechnology, molecular biology, microbiology, immunology, oncology, or related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a lab based environment
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and hands-on experience of flow cytometry instruments and method development is required
- Experience in operating BD cell sorters is preferred
- Familiarity with FlowJo or FCS Express highly desired
