Akkodis is seeking a Product Speacliast in San Jose, CA for a contract of 6-12 months
Pay rate is $40-$45/HR on W2
ABOUT THE ROLE:
• Develop and execute a variety of creator events ranging from client-owned events (eg creator summits, Client Awards) to creator industry events (eg VidCon)
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- Event experience in the creator ecosystem
- Experience delivering events and experiences, especially in the creator space
- Experience working directly with talent / creators / industry stakeholders
- Strong cross-functional skills, with experience collaborating and driving consensus among teams across different work streams, priorities, and regions
- Practical production skills with past experience at an experiential agency or managing experiential agency relationships
- Detail-oriented; elevating our brand through creating premium events and experiences
Responsibilities:
- 2-4 years of experience as a specialist, coordinator, analyst, or associate supporting a Product team.
- Managed small-to-medium-scale projects, created schedules and timelines, delegated tasks, oversaw the project's progress, and monitored risks to escalate when needed.
- Experience with documentation/technical writing
- Able to understand complex systems and interactions between them to make sure solving Problem A doesn't cause Problem B.
- Successful in a start-up and/or non-traditional setting, collaborating with a range of experience levels and timezones.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving end-user difficulties, such as bugs or other technical issues that affect the user experience.
- Detail-oriented with a knack for process improvement; Excited to dive into new challenges, ask questions, and seek solutions
- Familiar with chat-based communications platforms like Lark, Slack, Teams.
- Strong communication skills, especially written communications.
- You'll report to the Lead Product Manager supporting the launch and continued development of a new Product within the organization, working closely with the Program Managers in the San Jose, London, and Singapore offices.
- Coordinating critical aspects of product launch, including managing timelines and project-related correspondence, driving quick and effective decision making
- Review existing documentation to confirm content and clarify processes and procedures, document new processes and workflows for both tech-facing and business-facing user guides, SOPs, and requirements documents;
- Research existing workstreams and processes to have a deep understanding of interdependencies in the organization to support Product development, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize our offerings
- Contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying, mitigating, unblocking, and escalating issues, including recommending and implementing updated workflows, such as building (or re-engineering) processes for repeatable, critical tasks
- Acting as an intermediary between front-line support and engineering to support end-user needs
- Assisting the Product team with requirements gathering and documentation, helping manage the ticket backlog and workflow
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in contingent workforce management (staffing, recruiting, MSP or VMS Software)
- Strong understanding of SDLC and how it interacts with Product, i.e. ticket management, backlog management, prioritization, requirements gathering, and requirements writing.
- Experience writing SOPs, BRDs, QRGs, User Guides, and other technical documents.
- Chinese Mandarin Proficency would be ideal, but not required.
