An established pharmaceutical CDMO in New Jersey is in immediate need of a Project Manager Consultant to support them on a long-term project that will go for at least 12 months. The project needs to be completed while working onsite in New Jersey 40 hours/week.
The PM Consultant will lead a $100M renovation project to install and commission 2 spray drying suites and also a continuous tableting line. The consultant needs to have a strong engineering background/skill set in order to communicate effectively with the engineering team, architect, and construction management partner organization. The PM should be able to read engineering drawings and should have an understanding of loop testing among other areas.
Top Requirements:
- BS degree required, ideally in Engineering
- Must be able to work onsite in New Jersey every week
- 5+ years of construction project management experience with Pharmaceutical companies
- Strong expertise leading commissioning and qualification activities for facility renovation brownfield projects
- Experience working with large industrial companies from a safety/compliance perspective
- Strong communication skills to be effective working with cross-functional teams
- Must be adaptable and a team player
- Experience installing and commissioning spray dryers is a plus, not required
