Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to project schedules.
- Collaborate with Project and Procurement Managers to prepare bidders lists.
- Analyze pre-qualification data and recommend suitable bidders.
- Meet MBE/WBE requirements for proposals.
- Draft and issue RFPs.
- Assess proposals and perform commercial evaluations.
- Integrate prime contract requirements into all contracts.
- Review and negotiate procurement policy deviations.
- Foster and maintain positive vendor and subcontractor relationships.
- Expedite equipment and materials to ensure timely delivery.
- Comply with internal standards, policies, and procedures.
- Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, Supply Management, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in T&D procurement.
- Familiarity with substation and transmission equipment.
- Experience working with T&D material vendors and subcontractors.
- Proven contract negotiation skills.
- Leadership in procurement for T&D projects, from proposal to execution.
- Experience in providing estimating support during proposal phases.
Preferred Experience and Education:
- 10 years of experience in T&D procurement.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams and reviewing material specifications.
- Established relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
