Position Overview:
Valuflor is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Punch and Warranty Repair Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will manage and coordinate all aspects of punch repair and warranty work for new construction homes. You will work closely with builders, contractors, and homeowners to ensure all repair and warranty issues are addressed promptly and professionally. This position requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate Punch Repairs:
- Schedule and oversee punch repair work for new construction homes in collaboration with project managers and subcontractors.
- In partnership with the field management team, ensure all punch items are completed to the highest quality standards before final homeowner walkthroughs.
Manage Warranty Repairs:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners and builders regarding flooring-related warranty issues.
- Schedule and coordinate warranty repair work with subcontractors and internal teams.
- Track and document all warranty claims, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with warranty terms.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with builders, subcontractors, and homeowners to keep them informed of repair schedules and progress.
- Collaborate with the installation and customer service teams to resolve any repair issues efficiently.
- Provide regular updates to management on the status of punch and warranty repairs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a coordination role within the construction, flooring, or related industry.
- Understanding of flooring installation processes and common repair issues.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using scheduling and project management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with new construction home builders.
- Background in customer service or warranty management.
