We are searching for a Reliability Engineer - Mechanical to join our largest plant operations in Newburgh, Indiana!

What you will work on:
- Provides assistance in identifying root cause of equipment issues
- Provide downtime and cost tracking and analysis of equipment
- Providing autopsy support services of failed components
- Lead problem solving activities
- Assist in develop, review, audit and maintain PM program
- Assist in PM & repair maintenance to ensure proper methods and precision is exercised
- Work directly with equipment vendors and contractors for project execution
- Assist in the Identification & maintenance of critical spares
- Maintain education in field to ensure plant meets all federal, state, and local requirements for equipment maintenance and usage
- Ensures adherence to plant and company standards
- Develops & implements standards based on industry best practices & professional experience
- Track equipment downtime in assigned departments, complete report outs, and assist with prioritizing issues
- Attend department maintenance meetings
- Track open anomalies for assigned areas
- Develop reliability roadmaps for assigned department, track progress, complete report outs, and drive reliability continuous improvement
- Utilize project management skills and concepts to execute technical projects, both capital and expense, from planning stage to realization and start-up
About you:
- Deep understanding and ability to quickly comprehend electrical and mechanical systems and failure modes.
- Demonstrated problem solving using data.
- Passion to learn and improve.
- Effective team leader and team member that energizes others.
- Ability in influence business leaders, peers, and team members professionally with data, logic and presentation skills.
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering, technical discipline or equivalent experience with significant focus delivering improvements in equipment reliability
- 3-5+ years of heavy industry experience
- Strong software skills. (MS Office, creating document templates, Creating Excel sheets with special formatting/tables, importing data/results, etc.)
