Senior Product Manager - Customer Data Platform (CDP)
Location: Newton, MA
Salary: Up to $160K
Work Schedule: Hybrid (onsite/remote flexibility)
The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned product manager with over 5 years of experience in building B2B or B2C SaaS products, particularly those leveraging a Customer Data Platform (CDP) like Salesforce or Microsoft D365. They possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record of delivering data-driven, customer-focused products, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment. What You’ll Be Doing:
Visionary Leadership: You will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data products. Leveraging a Customer Data Platform (CDP), you’ll unify customer and operational data to create a comprehensive single view of the customer.
Customer Insights: Collaborate closely with marketing and growth teams to harness customer data, understand customer needs and behaviors, and craft real-time customer journeys across channels and segments. Your work will deliver personalized experiences and generate valuable insights.
Product Leadership: Serve as a Product Leader, working with cross-functional teams and other product teams to collect business needs and translate them into robust product capabilities.
Tech Collaboration: Partner with internal tech and design teams to create product backlogs, prioritize features, and ensure the iterative delivery of high-impact capabilities, all driven by data-centric decision-making (KPIs/OKRs).
Effective Communication: Ensure effective communication across the organization with stakeholders and leadership groups, aligning priorities and deliverables.
Research & Design: Conduct competitive and market research, collaborate with the design team on wireframes and prototypes, and validate prototypes using A/B testing.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
Product Development: Proven experience in building B2B or B2C SaaS-based products.
Agile Expertise: Strong experience with agile methodologies (SAFe/Scrum) and proficiency with agile tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps (ADO).
Customer 360 Views: Hands-on experience in building customer 360 views using a CDP product like Salesforce or Microsoft D365.
Data-Driven Leadership: A demonstrated ability in data-driven product leadership, with experience measuring success outcomes using product analytic tools like Pendo, Google Analytics (GA), etc.
Collaboration Skills: Exceptional collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams and across large stakeholder groups.
Proven Results: A track record of delivering high-quality, customer-focused products on time in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
