We’re supporting several fast-growing VC-backed startups, backed by leading investors including Y Combinator, Sequoia, and Accel, to hire ambitious, experienced AI and ML engineers to join highly technical fast growing teams. The startups operate in sectors spanning from Fintech, Climate Tech, and of course B2B SaaS. Stage wise they range from Seed through to Series B. We work with the founding teams and you to ensure cultural alignment and reduce time to hire.
What you’ll be doing
- Collaborating closely with the Co/founder CTO and other early engineers to define and implement the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with the startups goals.
- Playing a pivotal role as part of the founding team, driving key decisions around technology stack, architecture, and best practices, while also contributing to the overall growth and success of the startup.
- Architecting and developing end-to-end web applications, from front-end interfaces to back-end services, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust performance.
- Building and maintaining scalable APIs and micro-services, with a focus on efficiency, security, and maintainability.
- Implementing responsive and intuitive UI/UX designs using modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Developing and optimising server-side logic, databases, and infrastructure, primarily with Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data and services across cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to industry best practices and leveraging tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments.
Qualifications required
- Over 4 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong portfolio of deployed applications.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong back-end development skills, with expertise in Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, or similar languages.
- Experience working with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, and a solid understanding of RESTful APIs and micro-services architecture.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, ensuring smooth collaboration and code management.
Preferred Skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in launching or scaling tech-driven initiatives.
- Contributions to open-source projects, demonstrating a passion for community-driven development.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Pay range and compensation package
- From $130k-250k+ in addition to generous equity grants.
