We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our Driggs team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, project management, and client communication. As a Project Architect at Northworks, you will play a key role in all phases of the design process, from conceptual development to construction administration. All work is done in collaboration with our dynamic team of architects and designers in Driggs, ID and across our studios nationwide.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept through construction documents.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Prepare and present design proposals, renderings, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Conduct site visits and oversee construction administration activities.
- Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience working on diverse project types, including residential, commercial, and hospitality.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and building codes/regulations.
- Architectural license is preferred but not required.
