Job Summary:
The LOPs Time Study Technician position will be responsible for the development and production of all aspects of on-vehicle labor time studies. Hands-on knowledge is stressed, with a strong understanding of various automotive systems. Development will be in a defined format and involves interface with multiple customers both internal and external. Regardless of deliverable or style, this position must ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks which maintain compliance to both corporate and customer standards.
Required Work Experience:
- Approximately 5 years of direct firsthand vehicle service & diagnostic experience at an automotive dealership or aftermarket shop.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop on-car removal and installation labor time studies
- Accurately develop applicable content using client supplied information
- Meet all client and company quality standards
- Ensure successful on-time delivery of all projects
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED - Technical Training or Technical Degree
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Manage time/workload to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Exceptional attention to detail and thorough approach to follow-through on all tasks
- Enthusiastic and well organized
- Ability to multitask and interface with many personalities
- Capable of adhering to schedules and raising issues as necessary
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to ensure efficiencies
Desired Skills and Abilities:
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred
- Professional experience in automotive labor time development preferred
In-depth Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) knowledge a plus
