The Inbound Transportation Analyst supports the on time delivery of merchandise to the company’s distribution centers in the US and Canada, primarily for Import, Port of Entry, and Wholesale orders. Additionally, the successful candidate should be comfortable creating and maintaining reports, exhibit attention to detail to coordinate vendor compliance, and have strong communication skills to operate as part of a successful team.
Responsibilities
•Collaborate with international teams, brokers, dray agents and vendors to manage last mile drayage to the SPARC DC facilities, including 3PL trans-load operations and wholesale customers
•Utilize 3PL systems, company systems, and Excel to assist in tracking inbound shipments from origin to distribution centers and provide other business reporting
•Assist Origin, Broker and DC teams with collection of any necessary documents
•Provide KPI reporting to team and management
•Report on costing and accruals as needed
•Manage and route domestic sourced goods to the Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, Reebok and other SPARC facilities
•Maintain and set-up direct-ship wholesale customer contacts, profile and shipping requirements
•Work with DCs and 3PL providers to insure tender and/or delivery of direct-ship orders to designated customer destinations or providers
•Provide support and documentation to DCs or 3PL for successful and timely transfer of title to customer, including forecasting, appointing and monitoring.
•Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to support operations.
•Implement processes and controls to proactively identify and address issues.
•Develop internal relationships to support DC operations, Customs compliance, finance and other departments
•Oversee provider operations, claims, invoice coding and approvals for managed loads
•Participate in team meetings, planning and process development, as required
•Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree, in Supply Chain, Business, or Operations preferred
•2-3 years Logistics/Supply Chain experience preferred
•Systems and Tools Acumen: Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
•Analytic Skills: Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
•Collaboration: Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of partners
•Possess strong organizational and time management skills
•Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skills
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods
• Ability to position self to reach at or below shoulder level
• Ability to carrying equipment, moving boxes/samples, etc.
