Position Overview:
As a Process Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and modification of process formulations, methods, and controls to ensure our medical devices meet the highest quality standards. This individual contributor role requires independent work with minimal supervision, leveraging professional expertise and judgment to drive improvements and meet project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify process formulations, methods, and controls to adhere to quality standards.
- Recommend and implement process improvements, modifications, or additions to enhance documentation and efficiency.
- Review product development requirements to assess compatibility with processing methods and determine associated costs and schedules.
- Integrate equipment and material capabilities to meet process and technology target specifications.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, applying professional judgment and expertise in your field.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical knowledge gained through experience.
- Strong understanding and application of procedures and concepts within your discipline.
- Ability to make informed judgments based on practice and previous experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to adapt work schedule as needed to accommodate project demands.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% on average, with potential increases up to 50% during peak project phases.
