Title: Business Systems Analyst
Contract: 12 months, potential for extensions
Pay: $38-45/hr
Location: San Diego- working onsite 1 day per week
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
- Experience with agile tools, methodologies and concepts (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP, TDD) (desired)
- User acceptance testing and test documentation experience
- Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint
- 2+ years Salesforce and/or SAP support or administration experience
- 2+ years of direct experience using waterfall and/or agile project management methodologies
Core technologies include SAP, Salesforce Service, Field Service, and Communities (Portals)
Day to day
You show initiative and ownership, identify issues and problem solve, prioritize across project and support work, and escalate risks to management. This position is responsible for working closely with Technical Product Owners, Solution Leads and business stakeholders to successfully execute Salesforce/SAP projects, while supporting production applications. You will provide initial triage on new support cases and help identify business requirements for new projects and system enhancements.
Role Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day operations for end users
- Develop and propose functional test scenarios and execute test cases, log defects and document output
- Owns test strategy for functional, regression & production smoke testing
- Supports Technical Product Owner on requirements, story grooming, refinement & definition
- Setup of test data, user provisioning, ensure data readiness for testing and stakeholder demos
- Demo completed user stories
- Create and maintain documentation for sprint and Service Efficiency support
- Support change management process end user training
- Support requirements gathering workshops and facilitate stakeholder alignment
- Answer questions from developers and clarify requirements
- Understand and execute validated test scripts as needed (desired)
