Our client headquartered in Franklin County, Georgia, is seeking a SolidWorks Designer or a Mechanical Engineer. This position will report directly to VP of Engineering and is pivotal in creating, reviewing, and updating production drawings using SolidWorks and PDM.
The applicant must have good understanding of CAD principles and documentation. This role will include associated tasks in production drawings, reverse engineering, possible technical publication and manual writing responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Creation of precise SolidWorks 3D & 2D Drawing data for manufactured products.
- Drive efficiencies in SolidWorks CAD configurations, design-table automation, CAD libraries and documentation processes.
- Work with leadership, project managers and technical teams to deliver high-quality deliverables.
- Deliver and present documentation and designs as required, capture requirements and use cases as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors Degree, in Mechanical Engineering or related experience.
- Experience designing with Sheetmetal / Weldments.
- Demonstrated expert experience with SolidWorks CAD for production.
- Experience with SolidWorks PDM or similar engineering data management software.
- Experience with Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Ability to multi-task and communicate in a fast paced, technical environment with high adaptability and flexibility.
- Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder
Location / Schedule:
- Onsite role in Franklin / Hart Counties, Georgia.
- Monday – Thursday work schedule 7am-5:30pm
