Our ideal candidate will be responsible for directing and supervising a group of employees involved in inspection and quality control procedures with regard to in-process material and finished products to assure quality control standards are achieved. Hours are full time, Mon – Fri., in office, no hybrid of remote possibility.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 standards
- Support quality assurance, engineering, and operation departments with techniques and methodologies for first article, in-process, and final inspections.
- Investigate production and quality issues, determining root cause and developing corrective actions as appropriate.
- 4-year degree in a technical discipline such as engineering or physical sciences
- Experience creating, implementing and maintaining internal quality systems/document management systems, standards/SOPs for internal and external applications
- Experience in dimensional metrology and measurement systems using open setup and coordinate measuring machines with a strong foundation in ASME Y14.5
