Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in K-12 construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of construction projects, from initial estimating through to completion. This role requires the ability to bid on projects independently, conduct site walks as needed, and manage client relationships effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage K-12 construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Perform detailed project estimating and develop competitive bids.
- Conduct site walks and assessments to ensure project requirements are fully understood and addressed.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and specifications.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring all project milestones are met.
- Oversee superintendents and project staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Prepare and submit detailed project reports, including progress updates, budget status, and change orders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing K-12 construction projects.
- Proven experience in project estimating and bidding.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software.
