Job Overview
This position will be responsible to support the site Sales and Operations Planning process by providing support on business growth and capacity assessment.
The Supply Chain Coordinator will assist with customers' operational demands and will track that operational deliverables meet expectations defined by Contract Agreements.
The position will oversee customer transactions and will be a key user on the Supply Chain processes to facilitate the transition to an automated system.
Main Responsibilities
- Will coordinate successful alignment & implementation of S&OP plans that are agreed upon in the S&OP process into the Demand & Supply.
- Support customer needs by providing prompt support. Coordinate internal and/or external efforts to ensure proper follow-ups and completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with planning and operations on the creation of production batch records for customers.
- Collaborate with Planning on the preparation of purchase orders or purchase requisitions to obtain materials per the Material Requirement Planning.
- Support Planning and Warehouse operations, by developing the required strategies with the different parties involved in the chain.
- Collaborate with Warehouse and inventory by providing support on keeping inventory transactions when required.
- Coordinate efforts to ensure that Quality elements pertinent to the supply Chain are on track and effectively addressed.
- Support and refine operating policies and business procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations thought the company’s system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years in the supply chain in a controlled industry. Medical devices or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop an end-to-end perspective of the supply chain to identify and address issues; problem-solving capabilities will be critical for success in the role.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace in a rapidly changing business environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally; must be willing to work as a team and develop relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong ability to influence and align others.
- Strong Project Management skills
- Driver of S&OP processes
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP Certification a plus
- Experience working with the implementation and use of ERP programs.
