Principal Machine Learning Scientist (Large Language Models)
Location: Hybrid in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA
DeepRec.ai seeks a dedicated Principal level Machine Learning Scientist specializing in Large Language Models (LLMs), to join our client's innovative team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
You will be part of an agile, cross-functional team responsible for training SOTA, large-scale models on the scientific data, fine-tuning models with feedback (e.g. RLHF/DPO) and integrating multimodal scientific data.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in coding with large language models (e.g., GPT or other autoregressive LLMs)
- Contributions to top-tier research conferences or journals
- Experience in deploying and fine-tuning deep learning models at scale.
- Proficient in machine learning strategies like lifelong learning and incremental learning.
- Skilled in ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow/Jax) and the Python data science ecosystem.
- Experience with cloud computing services.
- PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on ML.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using AWS services.
- Experience integrating ML in experimental workflows.
