Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim Bankruptcy Litigator.
Overview: Our Law Firm Client is interested in hiring a Bankruptcy Litigator.
Company: US Boutique Law Firm with 30 Attorneys.
Experience: 6-8 years, Bankruptcy Litigation.
Location: Local Hybrid.
Responsibilities:
- Handling adversary proceedings in bankruptcy cases;
- drafting pleadings, including answers and motions to dismiss; and
- responding to discovery and conducting legal research.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6-8 years’ experience with adversary proceedings in bankruptcy cases: drafting pleadings, including answers and motions to dismiss, responding to discovery and conducting legal research.
- Must be familiar with the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure as well as the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure as applied to bankruptcy cases
- Experience with fraudulent conveyance lawsuits is ideal but not necessary
- Admitted in New York and the SDNY bankruptcy court.
- Open to working evenings and weekends, as the litigation requires.
