Job Title: Sustainability Manager (Construction)
Duration: 12 months assignment
Location: Prefering Bellevue WA or will consider 100% remote for the right candidates
Description:
Will work cross-functionally across a subset of client's Existing Buildings and Expansion portfolio to develop, implement and lead sustainability initiatives. The candidate is expected to manage a range of stakeholder interests and support related internal communications and change management initiatives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the Glidepath for multiple building formats
- Prioritize the most impactful carbon reduction initiatives for Sustainable Buildings
- Plan and execute implementation of initiatives across the portfolio
- Define and test new innovative solutions to unlock future carbon reduction initiatives
- Build out and support reporting mechanism to track impact
- Lead collaborative monthly / weekly reviews to align stakeholders across the org
- Establish cross-functional relationships in order to leverage resources and integrate onto larger company-wide initiatives/goals
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in store design, construction, operations, or sustainability
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Structural or Mechanical engineering, or a relevant study
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience with design and implementation of sustainability programs related to construction materials, energy, waste management etc.
