- Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 annually, based on skills and experience

Loss Control Specialist Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for the oversight of Loss Control and Safety on an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) construction project. This is a multibillion-dollar healthcare project with additional infrastructure to support the facility. The project will be completed by three general contractors and is expected to last a minimum of 5+ years, with potential scope increases that could extend the project timeline.
What you will do as the Loss Control Specialist:
- Collaborates with General Contractors, Client Representatives, and construction site personnel to oversee a successful OCIP for the client
- Generates risk engineering and loss control solutions to benefit the project
- Identifies and analyzes critical issues and implements or recommends solutions, operating on a holistic, multi-disciplinary Risk Management Platform philosophy
- Designs, review, and drafts complex loss control and site-specific safety plans for the construction project
- Assists in the coordination and delivery of risk control services for the client
- Assists with field visits with Carrier Reps on behalf of the client
- Consults and advises others regarding all Federal & State Safety Compliance regulations including OSHA, NFPA, JCAHO, enforcement, data & statistics and training
- Utilizes interdisciplinary knowledge of coverage, claims and safety to articulate, consult and recommend solutions and plans to top level management in order to influence positive results
- Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information)
What you’ll bring to the Loss Control Specialist role:
- Bachelor’s degree or 10 years safety related experience
- Bilingual Spanish and English
- Must have extensive industry knowledge, particularly of Construction Trade and Medical Management
- CSP and/or Professional Safety Designation preferred
- OSHA 500 Authorized Trainer certification preferred
- Must have Superior written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation capabilities
- Excellent leadership, problem solving, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to translate technical/tactical plans into strategic plans for customer use
- Ability to coordinate efforts involving individuals from different geographic areas as well as external partners
- Must have strong qualitative and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office, Excel and other critical safety related software is essential
