My client is at the forefront of advancing nanoscale manufacturing technologies and they are currently seeking a Product Development Engineer. As a Product Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the innovation and development of next-generation products that redefine possibilities in imaging, semiconductor manufacturing, and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal development and R&D groups, both in Austin, TX, and Japan, to understand capabilities, limitations and specifications of inkjet sub-systems on Imprint Lithography tools.
- Troubleshooting electrical HW/SW related tool issues and provide viable solutions to meet program goals and timelines.
- Standardize and maintain existing internal tools and participate in the development of new inkjet technology.
Skills:
- BS/MS in ME/EE/Computer Science or equivalent with 3+ years of industrial experience related to HW development, semiconductor tool manufacturing, system engineering.
- Good analytical and data analysis skills
- Hands-on problem solver
- Basic computer skills including HW, networking, configuration
- Linux skills: ability to install/update OS, software packages, administration, configuration
- Scripting: bash, python, maybe Tcl for rapid prototyping and testing
