Logistics Coordinator
Omron Automation-Americas is looking for an energetic and focused RMA Logistics Coordinator. This role is an important part of the Field Service and Repair Center team and will be mainly focused on completing customer product returns, shipping/receiving and support service center activities. The ideal candidate will be customer focused and can work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Process product returns and shipping/receiving activity (RMAs)
- Maintain Omron Repair Center Assets
- Ensure high level of customer service is delivered to all customers, internally and externally
- Assist with RMA authorization processing
- Acts as liaison between Omron Repair Service, coordinating efforts between Omron personnel and customers
- Estimated effort - about 20 % repair/evaluations and 80% Logistics.
- Have or obtain a certification in Hazardous Materials Shipment 09977-000. (Certification, Lion Technology)
- Preparation for shipping.
- Supporting Canada in preparation of documentation for hazardous shipments (Batteries)
- Execute domestic and international shipments for US, Canada, Europe, Japan and Latin America. Select best options either air shipments (Fedex, UPS, etc) or freight shipments.
- Work in coordination with Third-Party logistics company (APLL)
- Help in maintaining an adequate stock of spare parts for the Repairs.
- Inspection of damaged parts from APL Warehouse (5~7 pallets at a time)
- Starting to shadow Repair Technicians.
- Stock entries and adjustments in JD Edwards Physical shipping of packages (packaging, crating, banding, palletizing etc.)
- Physical receiving of packages (unboxing, organization of RMAs on shelves),
- Segregation of POC, RC and APL incoming packages
- Customs Documentation (Commercial Invoices, Pro forma invoices)
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma. Associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, engineering, or a relevant field preferred.
- Three-Five years of relevant professional experience serving in a logistics position
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Strong customer service and quality control skills
- Considerable experience with relationship management and interpersonal business development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Energetic, aggressive and focused
- Ability to multitask, adapt on the fly, prioritize and change focus rapidly
- Team player mentality but able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Extreme attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, listening, questioning and communication skills (written and oral)
