Solar & Battery Sales/Support Specialist
As a Solar & Battery Sales/Support Specialist, your primary role will be to assist customers by providing expert advice on our solar and battery products, handling sales inquiries, and resolving technical issues, and helping customers pick out, design, and choose the right products for their specific solar and battery systems. This position demands a blend of customer service and sales acumen, ensuring that our customers receive top-notch support and find the products that best meet their needs.

Solar Guys Pro, based in Virginia, is at the forefront of the renewable energy sector, specializing in battery backup and off-grid power solutions. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Remote Solar & Battery Sales/Support Specialist. This role is crucial in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing both technical and product-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate in a fast-paced environment, addressing customer inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and guiding customers through product selections via phone and email.
- Provide expert advice to customers, helping them choose the right solar and battery solutions based on their specific needs.
-Assist customers in designing the proper solar and battery systems to meet their energy requirements, ensuring they select the correct components and configurations.
- Prepare detailed quotes, send invoices, and manage orders, including the creation of custom kits tailored to individual customer requirements.
- Engage in proactive sales activities, including selling products over the phone, fostering customer relationships, and clearly communicating the value and functionality of our offerings.
- Collaborate with our technical and engineering teams to address and resolve any complex issues, ensuring a seamless experience for the customer.
- Manage return merchandise authorization (RMA) processes, determining when a product replacement or additional troubleshooting is necessary.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with customers throughout the sales and support process, ensuring their concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Qualifications:
- A strong belief in the benefits of solar energy and a commitment to growing with our company and industry.
- Experience with solar and battery storage systems. (Required, at least 1 year in the solar industry)
- Background in customer service, sales, and electrical system troubleshooting. (Recommended but not required)
- Proven success in managing customer relationships and driving sales. (Not Required)

Salary: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour + Monthly Bonus commission performance packages
