Client Implementation Coordinator - San Antonio, TX
Due to our continuing and steady growth, we are seeking a Client Implementation Coordinator for our Implementation department. As a Client Implementation Coordinator, you will service some of FCE’s largest and most complex clients under the guidance of a seasoned Account Executive.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Partner with assigned Account Executives and liaison between FCE and client
- Oversee plan implementation process/workflow within key departments, communicating timelines, internal and external due dates, and expectations
- Understand and communicate the products and services sold to the client and internal departments
- Understand and communicate service level agreements/expectations to the client and internal departments
- Understand the role each FCE department and the trustee plays in the successful administration of a benefit plan
- Develop and maintain business relationships with existing clients, C-level executives, and HR Personnel, carriers and vendors
- Employ client retention strategies that foster client satisfaction and loyalty
- Work effectively with internal departments to support client goals and initiatives
- Identify plan performance problems and/or service issues, and resource the departments and stakeholders necessary to rectify; work with Operations department to fix root-cause issues
- Stay abreast of industry standards, legislation, insurance product changes, and ongoing trends
- Strategize with Account Executive and Sales for annual benefit renewals; work with marketing department to develop and facilitate open enrollment employee communication campaigns
- Monitor clients’ fringe contribution reporting activity to ensure compliance
Requirements:
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in benefits administration/consulting or insurance industry on the carrier side.
- Enthusiastic self-starter who can work independently and self-motivate
- Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Desired experience:
- A background that includes legal compliance, benefit administration, and labor/employee relations is strongly preferred
- Current Life and Accident/Health License is strongly preferred
- Brokerage experience is highly desirable
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or combination of equivalent education/experience.
