Position and Responsibilities Overview
Perform BAS Control service and programming activities, effective customer communication, diagnoses and repair of all industrial and commercial equipment.
Program Tridium and ABB based controllers to sequence.
Cutover of retrofitted control systems while keeping HVAC/R equipment operational.
Perform planned maintenance tasks as prescribed.
Perform equipment/control start up with associated documentation.
Perform quality control inspections on Service Control Jobs.
Technical troubleshooting and diagnostics of BAS controls systems.
Guide field staff in properly completing specialized forms required and assist in providing paperwork to the necessary departments.
Carryout owner training as required.
Make a BAS control related decision in a timely manner that is in the best interest of the company.
Follow up on BAS service calls and projects.
Assist in the training of Service technicians.
Assist in pricing with Account Managers or Service Writer when required.
Guide field staff in the execution of any or all of the tasks listed above.
Qualifications
Indirect supervision.
Experience with Tridium Niagara based control systems.
Experience with ABB (formally Cylon) based control systems.
BACnet/Modbus protocols.
Electrical circuits.
Reading mechanical drawings/blueprints.
Programming BAS systems.
Devises new solutions to problems encountered.
Independently performs most assignments with instruction
Receives guidance for unusual or complex problems and supervisor approval for changes in standards.
5+ years of relevant experience.

Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
