KLR Executive Search is proud to partner with the Institution for Savings (www.institutionforsavings.com) to recruit their new Vice President of Loan Servicing who will oversee the Bank’s Residential and Commercial Loan Servicing Department. Based in Newburyport, our Client is widely recognized as one of the oldest and most stable mutual banks in the country, with assets over $5 billion.
In this newly created role, the Vice President of Loan Servicing will enjoy working in a collaborative environment while being professionally challenged and rewarded. This professional will “make their mark” as they implement new technologies and best practices while creating a new department by bringing together the Residential and Commercial Loan Servicing teams.
Position Overview:
- Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, supervise and coordinate the operations of the Bank’s Commercial and Residential Loan Servicing Department.
- Provide vision, leadership, and direction to a team of approximately ten total employees.
- Promote a positive work environment. Serve as a “hands-on” manager and role model, advocate, and coach for all Loan Servicing employees.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the unit’s organizational structure, technology, policies, and procedures.
- Identify and implement appropriate best practices, especially those leveraging technology.
Job Qualifications:
- Prior hands-on management experience in a Financial Services Loan Servicing/Operations environment.
- Strong leadership, management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Solid analytical, problem solving, project management, and technology skills.
- Experience with Jack Henry Database software, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Encompass, CoreLogic, and/or Nintex (or equivalent) preferred.
