Junior Project Assistant - Growth Potential!
Thriving Union installer of tile and slab, granite, marble, quartz and solid surface products is seeking motivated Junior Project Assistant. This detail-oriented position is responsible for the oversight and management of various projects. Position is for 40 hours per week, with flexibility to choose earlier start time for this full-time onsite position.
About the Role:
- Work with the field to maintain safety documents and keep up to date.
- Develop in-depth understanding of our industry products in the marketplace.
- Work with clients, vendors and other employees/departments to assure smooth, efficient operation and unparalleled customer service.
- Assist Project Managers with Daily tasks: RFI’s, CO Logs
- Work closely with Project Manager and Estimators to facilitate projects through to completion.
- Keep projects on track with constant monitoring and updating of project data.
- Quality customer service. Maintains relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Communicates changes and progress.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years construction industry and college degree a plus
- Must be proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Bluebeam.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Detail oriented with in depth math and blueprint reading skills.
- Physical dexterity that includes; walking job sites, bending, stooping, squatting and kneeling and occasionally lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds.
