Production Planner/Scheduler
This role focuses on implementing best scheduling practices and creating production schedules to ensure the capability and capacity of equipment and resources meet customer demand.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as point of contact between production and planning teams
- Monitors material flow and ensures supply needs and shipping goals are met
- Ensure products are manufactured free of defects with minimal scrap.
- Coordinate Production Planner schedules to ensure adequate coverage of plant scheduling and communication needs.
- Participate in the hiring of new Production Planners and apply disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor Production Planners in their daily duties to support production and supply chain, ensuring 100% on-time delivery goals are achieved.
- Ensure products are manufactured free of defects with minimal scrap.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Management or similar.
- Must have minimum 3 plus years of production planning , scheduling or inventory control experience.
- ERP/MRP
- Experience within an automotive manufacturer (OEM or supplier)
- Manufacturing scheduling
- Coordinate production workflow
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance
- Develop and maintain master production schedules
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in teams
