CACI is seeking an experienced NALCOMIS Optimized Intermediate Maintenance Activities (NALCOMIS-OIMA) SME who is highly experienced in all aspects of NALCOMIS OIMA from the prospective of intermediate maintenance (Fleet Readiness Center -FRC), to join our Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) team at Norfolk VA. This is a hybrid role that can be remote with occasional travel to the client site and requires that you are located within the local commuting distance (80 miles) to Naval Station Norfolk, VA.
We are looking for a candidate who possesses an in depth understanding of the NALCOMIS Optimized Intermediate Maintenance Activities (NALCOMIS-OIMA) with an emphasis with hands on experience related to logs and records. The preferred candidate for this position is someone who has had at least one assignment at an FRC working as a maintenance administrative clerk or similar role that required day to day interaction with OIMA NALCOMIS on an intermediate to advance level. If you have experience using NALCOMIS for inducting engines into IMA for repair and parts ordering, then this is the assignment for you. This assignment is best suited to those who have a strong background in I-Level related maintenance activities within an FRC. We are seeking a candidate who has extensive experience with O@I activities and has extensive knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) and 3M functions for aircraft maintenance on aircraft carriers, amphibious assault ships, or Marine Corps Air Stations. We desire to hire a candidate who has experience in and knowledge of Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (NALCOMIS OOMA), also referred to as OOMA that supports the logistics requirements of Navy and Marine Corps Aviation Organizational Maintenance Activities (OMA). If you also have hands on experience in Naval Aviation supply, then that would also be beneficial.
What You’ll Get to Do:
This SME will be a key contributor supporting requirements analysis and validation for the Naval Aviation’s premier Naval Aviation Maintenance System. This includes:
- Working with business analysts to provide identification and insight into aviation maintenance policies and processes.
- Decomposing Naval Aviation Maintenance and Logistics Requirements.
- Providing in-depth knowledge of, and ability to troubleshoot issues within, complex information technology systems used to implement maintenance management systems utilized by the DON to manage O-Level and I-Level aviation maintenance activities.
- Providing in-depth knowledge of relational database management systems, interface requirements and relationships with other naval aviation automated information systems.
- Providing in-depth knowledge of Aircraft Inventory and all associated naval aviation logistics and readiness management systems (3M).
- Functioning as a deep-level application, database, and systems administrator subject matter expert (SME) in Optimized NALCOMIS, supporting the Fleet users.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Must have an active secret (or interim) clearance and must be able to obtain a T5 investigation clearance.
- Must have worked in a Fleet Readiness center and spent time at a NTCSS NALCOMIS OIMA workstation.
- 10+ years’ experience performing U.S. Naval Aviation maintenance activities to include O@I level experience
- Must possess in-depth knowledge of OIMA (especially O@I level) and OOMA functions. This knowledge must include the ability to identify and troubleshoot application and data driven anomalies causing failures.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Naval Aviation maintenance policies and procedures as outlined in Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) CNAFINST 4790.2 series.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Aircraft Inventory and all associated naval aviation logistics and readiness management functions and systems (3M).
- Possess proficiency in Microsoft productivity tools (ex. Word, Excel, Power Point).
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Demonstrable analytical and critical thinking.
- Ability to document detailed procedures and functional test cases.
- Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and relational database management systems.
- Extensive experience working in a IMA level environment.
