Job Title: Network Engineer
Duration: 3-6+ months
Location: Hybrid in Paramus, NJ
Summary:
The Network Engineer will join a team focused on standardizing and supporting the company’s network infrastructure across remote and core sites. The role involves designing, maintaining, and supporting scalable, highly-available network architectures, with responsibilities including project leadership, infrastructure management, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage network infrastructure projects, including design and implementation of solutions for business needs.
- Oversee multi-datacenter components such as firewalls, core switches, and SD-WAN.
- Troubleshoot and configure Industrial Control Networks, LANs, SD-WAN, remote access, routers, wireless, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and load balancers.
- Contribute to problem management, operational metrics, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Support ITIL-based operational practices, knowledge management, and compliance with audit requirements.
- Collaborate with IT, business teams, and security to maintain and enhance network services.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years in IT network infrastructure, including network administration and supporting remote office environments.
- Proven experience leading infrastructure projects (e.g., Cloud, network, storage).
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in network routing/switching, Cisco ASA/FTD/FMC, IPS/IDS, and wireless configurations.
- Experience with DMVPN, Cisco, Fortinet, SD-WAN, IPv4/IPv6, dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
- Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, GCP, OCI) and network management tools (e.g., Solarwinds, Nagios) is a plus.
- Control Network (SCADA) experience and familiarity with compliance/documentation is beneficial.

Travel:
- Ability to travel within the US and occasionally to Canadian sites based on project needs.

- Network Manager, IT Director, and Project Managers.
Education/Equivalent:
- BS/BA degree or comparable experience
Certifications:
- Cisco CCNA at a minimum, CCNP preferred
- Fortinet NSE 4 preferred
- ITIL Foundation certified
