General Description:
Advanced Technology Systems Company in Gilbert, AZ has an opportunity for Program Manager to join our growing team of dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible to actively monitor, execute, and instill programmatic controls for programs. Program emphasis is relative to the integration and development of engineering programs that relate to C5ISR Systems and Aerial Delivery Systems. The Program Manager will work with engineering teams, Business Development (BD), Production, Supply Chain, Government Agencies, Customers (CONUS and OCONUS), and suppliers.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Actively monitor, execute, and instill programmatic controls for programs.
- Program emphasis is relative to the integration and development of engineering programs that relate to C5ISR Systems, C-UAS and Aerial Delivery Systems.
- Work with engineering teams, Business Development (BD), Production, Supply Chain, Government Agencies, Customers (CONUS and OCONUS), and suppliers.
- Support military and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) engineering development programs.
- Lead engineering development programs.
- Full life cycle focus: Front end BD and sales Pipeline through the development life cycle and into production and sustainment activities.
- Balancing cost and schedule performance.
- Program reporting to upper management.
- Building effective relationships with customers and suppliers.
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience formally managing programs as a PE or PM.
- 5+ years working as an engineer.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with or with the ability to obtain a government security clearance.
- Experience with Requirement Management tools.
- Experience with subcontract supplier management.
- Ability to create, implement, and/or modify programmatic processes
- Experience of tactical radios, EO/IR systems, Radar systems, networking, and/or computing platforms/servers.
- Experience with customer and government audits.
- Experience with ISO audits.
- Experience with Contracts, Terms and Conditions, etc.
- Certified PMI PMP/PgMP.
- Understanding of ERP systems.
- Experience with Earned Value Management System.
- Experience with program Risks and Opportunities.
- Experienced with writing/negotiating SOWs.
- Manages to schedules and metrics.
- Experience as an Engineer or Technical Engineering Manager performing new product development would be a plus.
