About the Role
CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS) is seeking a highly motivated and qualified IT Sourcing Specialist to manage the procurement strategy for the Information Technology category. This includes sourcing IT hardware, software, and services to support various enterprise projects. You will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies that reduce costs, mitigate risks, and drive value for the business.
As a key part of our Indirect Procurement team, you’ll manage supplier relationships, lead negotiation efforts, and ensure the effective execution of procurement contracts and purchase orders. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to business growth through procurement excellence.
Work Set up: Hybrid, required to work onsite in Plano, TX at least one day every week
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of multi-year sourcing strategies for IT categories, including hardware, software, and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, plan, manage, and lead key Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Quotes (RFQ).
- Support legal and procurement teams in developing and executing contractual documents, including NDAs, MSAs, SaaS agreements, and software licensing agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business units and supplier partners to deliver process improvement solutions across the organization.
- Negotiate pricing and achieve cost savings while mitigating financial and legal risks.
- Manage procurement requests from business units, ensuring timely and effective contract or purchase order issuance.
- Develop and execute negotiation strategies based on data analysis and market conditions.
- Support technology procurement and sourcing activities for the company and its entities.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in indirect procurement sourcing, particularly within IT categories.
- Proven experience in procurement principles, category management, and procurement strategies.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Procure-to-Pay tools, such as Ariba.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, including software and technology services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the technology industry or working with shared suppliers/commodities.
- Familiarity with SaaS and software licensing agreements.
