Job Title: Integrated Media Strategist (Instructional Website Design)
Location: Cupertino, CA OR Austin, TX (Hybrid: Tue-Thurs onsite, Mon/Fri WFH)
Duration: 12 Month Contract, 40hrs/wk
Pay Rate: $66-71/hr, DOE

Description:
Interdisciplinary role that bridges design, media production, storytelling, and project management.
Duties:
- Primary responsibility will be to help reorganize and scale our internal organizational website, fostering and maintaining a cohesive visual identity and web design across the organization’s digital landscape including graphic designs for webpages.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to understand functionality and content needs to conceptualize creative ideas
- Design visual imagery ensuring that they are in line with the customer’s brand
- Craft, edit and proofread content, issuing approvals per established workflows
- Ability to communicate design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps and wireframes
- Manager projects in an organized, clear and engaging manner and create timeframes and work schedules to meet deadlines
- Create site layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS/PHP/Java practices including mockups for vetting and user testing
- Apply design thinking and instructional design methodology to the creation of new and existing content
- Conduct ongoing website inventory analysis to ensure content remains current
- Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to address user issues, monitor site security, resolve technical issues, and implement upgrades
- Assist with drafting content and messaging for a range of internal communication channels including employee newsletters, videos and Keynote presentations with topics ranging from employee initiatives, process changes, and new tools
- Measure messaging effectiveness to guide future strategy
- Ensure compliance with online ADA accessibility standards and implement necessary improvements
