Job Title: Project Portfolio Manager
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

A large global financial institution providing offerings of commercial and investment banking services. North America headquarters are in New York City with other locations including Charlotte, NC.
Compensation Expectation: $160-180k
The Role
Looking for a highly experienced Project Portfolio Manager to oversee complex software development projects within the financial industry.
The successful candidate should have a strong background in Agile methodologies, experience in software development and project management, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects.
Experience as a Scrum Master is highly desirable.
What You'll Do as a Project Portfolio Manager
- Build and execute roadmaps in Agile and a hybrid fashion
- Monitor portfolio roadmap progress
- Maintain strong communication with senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project priorities and to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in Agile project management and software development within the organization.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
- 7 years or more of experience with Agile methodologies.
- Strong background in software development life cycle.
- Scrum Master experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong experience with JIRA or ServiceNow.
- Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within financial and banking industry.
