As a Geosteering Analyst, you will play a vital role in the interpretation of the E&P drilling process. You will be part of our high-performance operations team that works closely with our customers to achieve the goals of the well prior to and while drilling.
Education/Experience:
- B.S. or M.S. Geology or related field.
- Prior experience using Star Steer software preferred.
Geosteering Analyst Responsibilities/Requirements:
- A professional history of impeccable client communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure during a high workload environment.
- Aptitude to work in a team environment while accepting the accountability of your individual work conduct.
- Capacity to perform multiple wellbore target changes on different projects in a timely manner while keeping your work accurate and on time.
- Provide exceptional technical advice to our clients on current and future projects.
Geosteering Analyst Work Environment:
- 12-hour shifts.
- Night Shift
- Varying workload changes over a day or week shift.
- Team environment.
- The position will be high stress during higher workload and short deadline periods.
Technical:
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills with an emphasis in Excel.
- Complete understanding of well site drilling operations.
- Experience and knowledge in multiple basins.
Professional:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.
- Open to mentoring and constructive criticism by peers.
- Ability to multi-task.
