Nevco, Inc., the world's leading supplier of integrated display and scoring systems is looking to supplement the engineering team with a Mid-level Angular Web Developer at its headquarters in Edwardsville, IL. Responsibilities:
This mid-level Angular web developer position is within a small Agile development team responsible for building next-generation cloud-connected scoring, scoreboard, and videoboard control applications. This developer position is responsible for:
· Design and architecture of client-side web applications and integration with backend
· Development and support of modern client-side web applications
· Mentoring junior and less experienced web developers on the team
· Collaboration with backend developers and architects for cloud-side integration
· Collaboration with hardware engineers for optimizing software performance on custom Nevco hardware platforms
Requirements:
· 4+ years of work experience developing modern HTML5/CSS3/ES client web apps
· 2+ years of work experience in Angular & Typescript development
· Experience with modern, responsive, Single Page App (SPA) development
· Experience with REST-based API design and client-side integration
· Interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate technical discussions within the engineering team
· Self-starter able to thrive in a small, fast-paced, hands-on, startup-like environment
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
· Angular web development certification
· Angular Material Design
· Client-side web app build tools (NodeJS/NPM, Nx, Webpack, ESLint, etc.)
· Apple iOS and Android hybrid mobile app development (Capacitor, Cordova, etc.)
· Git and Gitlab source control and issue tracking
· Experience with Agile software development process, source control, and automated testing and deployment
· A personal interest in sports and desire to work in the sports industry
