As a Director of Field Operations for Aspen Dental, you will support practice operations for a group of Aspen Dental-branded practices within a designated territory. You will be responsible for leading the administrative and operations teams within your supported practices and drive a strong culture that will support and help enable all team members to be successful.
Responsibilities
- Build and direct a high performing operations team composed of Regional Managers, and the Office Managers that they lead. Effectively devise strategies for Regional Managers to execute day to day operations to make a high-impact on profitability.
- Focus on the Doctor relationship and patient experience as the primary drivers of financial success. Track and appropriately respond to feedback through the Regional Managers and Office-level teams. Drive a superior patient experience that is measured through Net Promoter Scores.
- Identify major operational process gaps, needs, and improvement areas across the spectrum of subject matters (i.e., HR, IT, Talent Acquisition, Marketing). Develop a deep understanding of the everyday processes and inner workings at the office level in order to make appropriate improvements.
- Develop effective relationships with key field support teams to establish and maintain a trusting and productive environment.
- Advocate for talent training and development of team members to strengthen patient experience and to foster succession planning for a growing business.
- In partnership with the talent acquisition team and Regional Managers, evaluate and communicate staffing needs to enable effective hiring and onboarding experiences for new team members.
- Regional travel is required to maintain a consistent presence within practices to help ensure their success.
- Provide additional support as needed by Aspen Dental practice owners.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
- 10+ years multi-location, retail operations management experience in customer or patient-based industry
- Demonstrated experience leading high performing teams of people leaders, 5+ years
- Demonstrated success leading P&L performance for a multi-unit healthcare, restaurant, or retail organization
- Experienced in growing talent and developing future leaders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to make decisions independently
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office business applications
- Ability to travel 50-75%
- Total salary includes base, performance based bonus and long term incentives
