The Senior Process Engineer will manage the plating products while working with the aerospace and defense industries. This position offers competitive benefits, PTO, and a salary between $60K-$90K.
What You'll Do:
- Direct and provide technical expertise to technicians involved in process control activities, ensuring adherence to accepted company and industry standards.
- Conduct research into quality problems and technical development issues to correct and enhance understanding of the production process, and reduce variations, production costs, and scrap.
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all process control projects and audits.
- Review and update current SOPs
- Perform cost/benefit analysis relating to the aspects of process improvements.
- Initiate, lead, and drive activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
What We Need from You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry Engineering preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with electroplating is preferred
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with team members.
- Function optimally in a team environment and interact productively with all levels of management and operations personnel.
