1. Expertise in writing SQL queries
2. Any Data quality tools (Informatica DQ, Collibra DQ), and experience in creating data quality rules
Characteristics of a top performer: Experience in SQL and working knowledge of Collibra DQ
Overall Scope of Work:
- Analyze the different applications being onboarded into Data Quality (DQ) tools.
- Complete a Proof of Concept (POC) of different features in corresponding DQ tools.
- Role will report into Data Quality Center of Excellence (DQCoE) manager.
- Role will interact with internal client team members who will utilize DQ tools.
Position Summary
Data Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity of data used for business operations and decision-making processes and will analyze, monitor, and improve data quality across various systems and data bases. They will work with business partners to identify and resolve data inconsistencies, errors, and discrepancies. Key responsibilities include:
- Working with business partners to understand data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity.
- Understand advantages/disadvantages of various data profiling tools and be able to translate those capabilities to business partners.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define data quality requirements and metrics.
- Provide training and support to end-users data quality best practices and tools.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data quality processes.
