Volt is immediately hiring for a Data Center Technician in Reno/Sparks NV
As a Data Center Technician, you will be:
- 100% focused on decommissioning old servers.
- Validation if assets/servers in the rack match the equipment listed in ticket.
- Removing hard drives from assets/servers, disconnecting cables and other attached equipment
- Following drive/asset tracking process in asset tracking database tool
- Removing servers/devices from the cabinets
- Potential for individuals to work through an iPad and the iOS app.
- Palletizing assets, moving assets with a pallet jack, strapping assets to a pallet to move, etc
- standing for prolonged periods of time, potentially for an entire 8-hour shift
- Lifting moderately heavy equipment and organizing on pallets for further processing
This is a Full Time, Contract opportunity.
Location: Reno/Sparks NV
Duration: 6 Months
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am – 4pm
Pay Range: $19-$20 Per hour
