Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist with all Board and Board Committee meeting scheduling, planning and implementation
- Execute Board and Board Committee package assembly, distribution and management
- Assist with event planning and event management
- Assist CEO and CFO with work tasks, schedules, correspondence, etc.
- Conduct scheduling and calendar management for CEO
- Schedule internal and external meetings
- Assist with updating and maintaining databases such as: mailing lists, donor and school lists and donor and school information
- Update and proofread documents, reports and correspondence
- Update and proofread PowerPoint presentations
- Update social media content and assist with monitoring social media
- Assist with communications both internally and externally
- Conduct light research and monitoring of local media for BLOCS relevant content
- Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail
- Monitor incoming emails and manage as appropriate
- Maintain office filing and document storage
- Conduct office administration including monitoring and maintaining of office supplies
- Keep office area clean and ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced
- Perform work-related tasks and errands as needed
Education and Experience
- Two- or four-year college degree
- Five to seven years of administrative assistant experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of software products
- Experience with light spreadsheet work
