Workshop Facilitator & Strategic Consultant

Summary:
Seeking an experienced Workshop Facilitator & Strategic Consultant to lead a series of strategic workshops aimed at generating and prioritizing value creation opportunities. These workshops will focus on critical areas such as Oncology, Neuroscience, and Cardiovascular/Pulmonary Hypertension, with potential future involvement in Immunology. The Process Manager will work closely with Therapeutic Area (TA) Leads and the Finance & Procurement teams to ensure effective workshop preparation, execution, and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Workshop Facilitation:
- Lead and facilitate three (3) focused workshops, each lasting 3 hours, with key stakeholders across Oncology, Neuroscience, and Cardiovascular/Pulmonary Hypertension.
- Guide participants through ideation and prioritization processes, ensuring productive discussions and effective decision-making.
- Encourage participation and innovative thinking from all attendees, ensuring diverse perspectives are captured.
2. Strategic Guidance & Insight:
- Provide light strategic guidance and external insights to enhance ideation and push the team’s thinking beyond conventional approaches.
- Validate and complement spend insights provided by the Finance team to support the development of robust value creation opportunities.
3. Workshop Preparation:
- Collaborate with Therapeutic Area Leads, Finance, and Procurement to develop a clear and effective workshop agenda.
- Assist in setting the structure and content of the workshops, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
- Organize initial value creation ideas based on spend insights, input from Procurement Category Leads, and pre-workshop discussions.
4. Data Analysis & Insight Validation:
- Review and validate data collected by the Finance team, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the workshop objectives.
- Provide additional insights and recommendations to enhance the value creation process.
5. Outcome Delivery:
- Deliver clear, actionable outputs from the workshops, including a prioritized list of ideas, assumptions, anticipated value, and effort required for execution.
- Ensure that the outcomes align with the client’s overall business planning process and strategic objectives.
6. Implementation Support:
- Support ongoing communication and follow-up to champion the implementation of workshop outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless integration of workshop insights into the broader business planning process.
Qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Alternatively, significant experience in strategy, finance, or business consulting in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Certifications in workshop facilitation or ideation methods (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean, Six Sigma) would be advantageous.
- 4-6 years of proven experience in facilitating strategic workshops, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of value creation and financial optimization in a business context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills, with a focus on delivering clear, structured outputs.
